Police are re-appealing for information after an armed robbery at a Perth betting shop. CCTV footage has been released showing the robber wearing a balaclava at the Ladbrokes on Leonard Street. He made off with a four-figure sum of cash from the bookies back in February. The suspect's described as around five foot eight and has blue eyes.
GBI banned from T
The controversial drug GBL will be banned from this years T in the Park. It comes after a campaign was taken to the home secretary yesterday. Alan Johnsone wants to ban the legal drug after it was linked to the death of a medical student in Brighton. Vendors at the Perthshire festival will be told they’re not allowed to sell it.
A9 crash leaves two in hospital
A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital yesterday following a crash in Perthshire. A car and two bikes were involved in the accident on the A9 near the slip road at Pitlochry just after 4 o'clock in the afternoon. A passenger in the car's being treated at Perth Royal Infirmary. Police are looking for witnesses to the crash.
