Man injured on Perthshire road

A man’s been injured in a collision on a Perthshire road. The 49 year old was rushed to hospital just after 9 o clock last night. His car overturned on the A85 near the Burnbrae garage in Methven. Police believe other cars were in the area at the time and ask witnesses to come forward.

Seeking help to end homelessness

Private landlords could hold the key to ending homelessness. That was the message at a major conference in Perth today. Shelter Scotland say that private landlords play a role in providing much-needed homes over the next three years. Nicola Baxter from the charity says more houses need to be built:

Missing Perthshire man

Police are searching for a missing Perthshire man. Gordon Robertson disappeared from his Puitlochry home at around 8 o’clock yesterday morning. He was last seen on Greenside road. He’s six foot tall, of medium build with short blonde hair and a fair complexion. He was last wearing a purple fleece top and green cargo trousers.
