Perthshire business goes up in blaze
A landmark Perthshire business has been gutted by a blaze. The owners of the Perthshire Caravan Company could only watch as smoke engulfed the Errol premises last night. Fire-fighters from Perth and Dundee attempted to save the building shortly after half past seven. The workshop and reception areas have been badly damaged. An investigation is to be carried out today.
Perthshire teenagers in need of fostering
Perthshire children are in desperate need of Foster homes. That's according to The Perth and Kinross foster service. It comes after fostering fortnight showed there's a shortage of around one thousand seven hundred carers in Scotland. Fostering manager Andy Turnbull told Perth FM homes are needed for older children.
Search for missing German woman
Police are still searching for a German woman who disappeared from her Perthshire workplace yesterday. Sonja von monkievitch was working voluntarily at a farm near Aberfeldy. The 31 year old left medication behind. It's believed she dislikes cities and busy places. Police believe she could be sleeping rough or in a bed and breakfast. She's described as five foot eight, with long reddish brown hair of a stocky build and a pierced nose.
