On November 4th, a Special Council Meeting will be held to consider the ‘Medium Term Financial Plan, Implications for Workforce Planning' report on savings proposals in Perth and Kinross for the next 3 years. Leader of Perth and Kinross Council, Ian Miller said "Perth and Kinross is not immune to these cuts, but we are confident that we are well prepared to find these savings. Central to our approach has been a commitment to take all reasonable steps to avoid compulsory redundancies."
