Hardie moves from Saint's to Jag's
St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes has been telling us Martin Hardie's month loan with Partick Thistle will be good for the player. The saints midfielder is returning to Fairhill where he had a successful career from 2000 to 2003. McInnes says it was an easy move.
Perthshire pensioner on sex offender's register
A pensioner from Perthshire has been placed on the sex offender's register. The town's sheriff court heard how seventy seven year old Francis Coutts touched a sixteen year old the girl on the body and the leg when on the bus. Mr Coutts admitted he conducted himself in a disorderly manner by making inappropriate comments and committing a breach of the peace. Sheriff Micheal Fletcher called for a social enquiry before sentencing but has placed him on the sex offenders register in the short term.
Rally of Scotland comes to Pertshire
The Rally of Scotland's kicking off from Perth's Scone Palace tonight. Drivers will be racing on closed gravel roads in Perth and Kinross and Stirling. The race is part of Perth's eight hundred-anniversary celebration. The rally's closing at Stirling Castle on Sunday.
