Tributes have been left at the site of a crash where Perthshire teenage Daniel McAra died on Sunday night. The 19 year old student's Corsa was involved in the collision with a Landrover and he died at the scene on the A85, while the two passengers of the Landrover were taken to Ninewell's Hospital.
One former primary school teacher of Daniel's remembered him as a bright boy with a promising future. Local Conservative MSP for Mid Scotland and Fife Liz Smith has offered her condolences.
She has also spoken as to how such an incident underlines the need for action on a road that Transport Scotland has stated has a death rate above the norm. She plans to ask Tayside Police to carry out a road review, which would include the stretch of the A85 between Perth and Methven.
