Veterans urged to apply for Badges
As Armed Forces Day approaches on the 26th of June, local MSP Miz Smith has stepped up her campaign to ensure Veterans Badges are given to all who have served. In recognition of their service, Veteran's Badges were launched to raise the profile of veterans to the wider public. The badge is a unifying symbol covering all aspects of British Forces. Ms Smith hopes that all eligible veterans in Perth will be seen wearing the badges, when Scotland's largest military parade of the year takes place on the 2nd of July.
