Training for swine flu vaccinations in Perth
Training to proceed with mass inoculation for swine flu will begin in Perth next week. Nurses at NHS Tayside received an e-mail yesterday, saying they'll be the first to receive training for the vaccination programme. Every person in the country is to be immunised against the H1N1 virus, with half the population being treated by the end of this year. That means 400,000 people will receive the jab in Tayside by January.

Local pubs are most vulnerable to failing during the recession, whilst pub chains selling food are stronger. Brennans owner John Buchan says smaller pubs have benefits.
