Look to Big Wheel for incinerator size
A local councillor is stepping up his campaign against an incinerator planned for Shore Road. Peter Barratt says the Big Wheel on Perth's South Inch last weekend shows how huge the plant would be. The wheel is less than half the height of the 260-foot chimney, which will be part of the 100 million pound plant if proposals are approved. The wheel was part of a funfair. Councillor Barratt says it shows what a blight the plant would be.
