Perth's MSP Is Backing A Multi Million Pound Initiative To Support Scotland's Home Builders

Housing Minister Alex Neil's announced 5 million's to be spent on this... and helping first time buyers get on to the property ladder. The scheme, which allows buyers to pay 60 to 80 percent of the price of a property, was piloted in Perth and several other areas last year and proved to be a success.

The Revamp Of Crieff's MacRosty Park's Back On Track.

Workers had to down tools recently because of the snow and ice, but weather permitting it should be finished by the middle of March

The multi-million pound project's been funded by cash from the Heritage Lottery Fund and other organisations. Once completed it'll boast new play facilities, improved tennis pavilion, paths and bridges, along with the restoration of features such as the bandstand.

There Was Traffic Chaos In South Perthshire After A Cow Made A Bid For Freedom

Access roads leading to the Keir Roundabout, south of Dunblane were shut yesterday and routes on several main roads were affected after the animal escaped from an abattoir. Cues stretched as far as Stirling.
