Community Police Officers In South Perthshire Are Tweeting On The Beat
The scheme's just been introduced this week.
It's a trial by Tayside police, which is looking into a number of social media options aimed at enhancing local policing and engaging people living in the area.
The three month pilot will see officers in OCH-TER-AR-DER, Crieff and Kinross updating twitter with information on police surgeries, crime prevention advice and much more.
