Police Appeal

Perth police are investigating after a young man exposed himself to a group of pupils at Craigie Primary School. The incident happened when the man was walking down Abbot Street with an other man on Tuesday between 2.30 and 2.40 pm.
The culprit is described as being between 15 to 20 years old , 5ft 9, of medium build with thick brown hair. He was wearing a light blue zip top and dark baggy trousers. Anyone with any information should contact Perth police.

Tay Footbridge

The green light has been give to the plans for the Tay footbridge on the north inch.
Despite passionate pleas from several councillors to defer the decision for several weeks, members of the common good fund committee voted eight to five in favour of approving the report. Councillors had expressed concerns that there was a need for a much wider consultation and asked for a delay of 8 weeks for further consultation.
This request was rejected.

Young Songwriter

Sixteen year old Perth girl Stella Reilly is one of four finalists in this year's young songwriter of the year. The public have until Friday to download their favourite song and the song with the most downloads will win the contest.
